I have downloaded and registered a copy of CSFax 3.0.9. I did not test receiving faxes, but I did test unsuccesfully to send faxes. I have the Palm Centro with Sprint service. I'm getting the "No carrier" message. Even though the Centro is newer than the 700 and 755, in essence it is probably on an older chipset, as it is also called Treo 690. Can anybody point me in the right direction??? T.I.A.

Bad news... Receiving is a no go too. I pressed "Receive Fax", waited for the phone ti show " waiting for call". Instead of a fax, I got an incoming call which I picked up. It was the familiar beeping and noises...

Anybody else tried send/receive with a Centro?

We have a Centro in house now but initial tests have not been successful. It appears that modem functionality is even more broken than the 700p/755 series.

We are attempted to develop a workaround, but the Centro isn't looking good at the moment.

Any news regarding the Centro? I was really excited when I heard about this application, now I'm a bit crushed seeing that it's a hardware issue... Any updates might lift my spirits a little... Smile Thanks...

We're here, there's simply no Centro news. The device stubbornly refuses to function.

Please understand - CS Fax works fine. The Centro has a problem. We can and have been trying to find a fix or a workaround for this new device, but there are limits to what we can do, and any resulting 'fix' would just be a hack to work around the issue. What's really needed is a firmware update that gets the Centro working at least as well as earlier units.
