connecting to nokia 6021

please can any one advise if cs fax should work with my nokia 6021
the message i get is that this is not a class 2 or class 2.0 modem. it is seeing the ir port on the phone so is this a phone problem?

If it doesn't respond to either Class 2 or Class 2.0, it may in fact not be fax-modem capable, or (actually less likely) it may only have the older Class 1.0 fax modem support.

If you send a copy of a send attempt log to support, we can help you with this device.

thanks for the reply, i have a feeling I need to get the sim card fax facilityenabled by the provider and can only do that on Monday when i get details from my office.
if that does not fix it i will send the log

Actually if the device isn't fax capable at all, (likely, since it's not mentioned in the specs for it,) then we should see that in the log. The CSD circuit generally isn't needed to determine that.
